'Mario', have you finally rescued Princess 'Gene'?

Mario Capecchi You might think Snake and Ladder is a game of chance where you might go from the very top to rock bottom or vice versa but  I would say it is nothing compared to human life. True, some of us start in middle and end somewhere slightly above or below, also some others start at top or bottom and remain there forever without any worries of sudden change. Also, there are some among us who start at one extreme and reach the other extreme. But then there are even smaller sub-group of people who start at one extreme go the other extreme and then come back to the same place in a better condition.  Mario Capecchi is one such man. He started near the top(his grandmother a painter, mother a poet, father an aviator, grandfather an archeologist and his uncle a physicist who developed first electron microscope and contributed to development of TV) went all the way to bottom and some more underneath and then came back to the top to set a new limit or as 2 famous WWE supe

Ohm's Law in detail and depth...

There are few great 'Laws' in our text books. Newtons law, Einsteins theory of relativity, Fleming's Law etc. Most of the students of 2nd PU may know it. The question is that they can answer if anyone make those students to answer even at 12. What's the benefit he/she gets after reading! Believe me. Many of us do not know how to covert Km /hr  to m/s . Few are in search of formula. Only thing what we require is Common sense. It is true that farmulas need to be learnt. You should know how the formula is derived as well. You should be able to find out the formula even if you forget it. If so, how should we read? In simple words we must understand Basics .                       Ohm's law What does it state? In a conductor if u double the potential across it , current also gets doubled. (In a conductor, the current flowing through it is directly proportional to the potential difference across it) You should have a strong grip over these subjects.     Current  is n

TIME THE RUNNING MONEY

Starting with – Thomas Edison sentence Time is really the only capital that any human being has, and the only thing he can’t afford to lose."   So lets think for a minute how is time and what is time Time there is no specific definition for it, only we can experience it Have you ever wondered how it is that some people seem to have enough time to do everything that they want to, whereas others are always rushing from task to task, and never seem to finish anything? Is it just that the former have less to do? No, it’s much more likely that they are using their time more effectively and practicing good time management skills. Some tips to mention time List:  At the beginning of each day, write down a bullet-point list of everything you would like to accomplish this day. "Make use of time, let not advantage slip." – William Shakespeare Remember the 80/20 rule of time management , which tells us that 80 percent of the importance of what we do in any given day lies

HOW TO BE POPULAR

why are some people effortlessly popular and well liked? By contrast, other people, no matter how hard they try, never seem to be able to gain the same trust and respect. Even if we may not like to admit it, most people secretly crave the respect and admiration of other people. These are some factors which can lead to a natural popularity. Don’t Try to Be Popular. It is a mistake to try and become popular. When we seek to impress others and please them, it inevitably encourages us to offer false flattery and think about what they want us to do and say. When we behave like this our ego comes to the fore, and we hide our real self. This kind of behaviour may temporarily impress some people, but, in the long term it is not sustainable. We have to base friendship on being our natural self, and avoid extravagant attempts to rise in other people’s esteem. Think of Others more than you think of your self. People appreciate those who are considerate of others. If you only talk about yo

Why are you so irrational Mr.Pi?

The story starts almost 4000 years back in the civilization of Babylonia. With civilization, started man's interaction with geometry. There was a need to understand geometry of everyday objects to make life easier. It so happened that the Mathematician or Logician of that period came across an ingenious method for some purpose. But for it to work there was a small hitch which had to be solved. i.e he wanted area.of square some size to be equal to area.of circle some radius. His problem was to find the radius given the side of square or vice versa. Poor guy struggled hard, looking at his struggle others of his era helped him .But none succeeded. Around a century or two later and 3000 km away in Greece this problem was recast by Hippocrates as "Quadrature of Circle" i.e the problem was to construct a circle from a square just by using an unmarked straight edge and a compass. Even he failed. Soon the list of failed got longer and longer, including some great mathemat

Origin of universe in brief

Today, let’s talk about birth…of EVERYTHING. Sounds quite philosophical, but let’s approach this in a scientific manner. Curious? Good.  Let’s get started then. This is a story that occurred 13.8 billion years ago. There was nothing. No electrons, no light, no matter, no space, no time. Absolutely NOTHING. Total CHAOS. But, hey! There’s something in the middle of nothing! The ‘thing’ that’s infinitely hot, infinitely dense, infinitely small. The ‘thing’ where almost all the current religions and philosophies seem to converge. The one which we call ‘Brahmanda’, the ‘cosmic-egg’ that spawned everything that exists. The one which we now call the ‘primordial singularity’. Suddenly, out of the blue, this ‘primordial singularity’ explodes. Make no mistake, this ain’t a normal boom, this is the most violent, most powerful explosion that has ever happened. The explosion that heralded the creation of everything. Known as the ‘BIG BANG’. It’ s rather ironic that all that ever exists is becau

object oriented programming language

An overview of object oriented programming language                                                   (C++) The Objective oriented programming language continues to grow in popularity and usage. This is due to the power and ease-of-use of the language itself, along with the numerous features that continue to be added to the platform. Many programmers have developed a basic knowledge of the language and now want to further their expertise. The basic for C++ language is C. C language was invented and first implemented by Dennis Richie at AT &T Bell Laboratories, an American research company. C is basically a structured procedure oriented language. But C differs a lot from C++. Data hiding is main key of c++, unlike in C which means you can hide the data from the external functions and those data can be accessed by only the function confined to it. In C the data can be accessed by any function you defined, there were no restrictions that to which only
