The Magic Of Thinking Big

It's about a sergeant in Hungarian army - karoly Takacs. He was the top pistol shooter of his country back in 1938. He had won most of the major national and international Championships. He seemed  the closest to win the 1940 Tokyo Olympic Games.
A hand grenade ended up destroying his shooting hand and his Olympic dream. He had nerves of steel. He could have looked for sympathy, instead he looked for ways to convert his dream into beautiful reality. After spending a month in hospital, he decided not to feel pity for himself for rest of his life. He had only one dream that was Olympic gold. He had the will, he had the attitude, he had the determination to succeed. He figured out that he still had one healthy hand. He decided to practice in his left hand. Despite all problems he focused on his goal and practiced. He was determined to make his left hand the best shooting hand in the world.
One year later Karoly resurfaced at a national Championship. His opponents were delighted to see him back and complimented him on his courage to come up to cheer for them. But he shocked them by saying he was there to compete, and he won. Who in the world except Karoly would have thought this was ever possible.
His Olympic dreams were shattered as two successive games were cancelled due to world war. In 1948 London games Karoly represented Hungary in pistool shooting. He practiced, he participated, he won.
Imagine being a gold medal favorite, loosing your shooting hand in an accident and going onto win the Olympic gold medal. Four years later in Helsinki, he won another gold medal in same event. This is the stuff that champions are made of. We all have faced failures in life, we feel defeated, crushed, beaten. Donot cry and say why me ? Tell to fate "try me". Donot worry about what you have lost, focus on what you still have. No hand grenade can kill your will, mental strenght and determination.
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising everytime we fall".

ORIGIN OF ANCIENT INDO-EUROPEAN CULTURE

HISTORY LESSON :- As a student, history always managed to bore me. Always blah blah blah ... Usually, history is not my forte nor my usually picked topic. But, this one eventually caught my attention. THE ORIGIN OF MOST OF THE INDO-EUROPEAN CULTURES:- As referred to as PROTO-INDO-EUROPEAN (PIE) religion by modern archeologists and historians, this if considered to be the most accurate explanation of the birth of Vedic culture and the Western ones and their similarity and parallelism still astounds me.

Origin of universe in brief

Today, let’s talk about birth…of EVERYTHING. Sounds quite philosophical, but let’s approach this in a scientific manner. Curious? Good.  Let’s get started then. This is a story that occurred 13.8 billion years ago. There was nothing. No electrons, no light, no matter, no space, no time. Absolutely NOTHING. Total CHAOS. But, hey! There’s something in the middle of nothing! The ‘thing’ that’s infinitely hot, infinitely dense, infinitely small. The ‘thing’ where almost all the current religions and philosophies seem to converge. The one which we call ‘Brahmanda’, the ‘cosmic-egg’ that spawned everything that exists. The one which we now call the ‘primordial singularity’. Suddenly, out of the blue, this ‘primordial singularity’ explodes. Make no mistake, this ain’t a normal boom, this is the most violent, most powerful explosion that has ever happened. The explosion tha...
